(Wednesday, April 14th, 2010)
Apr. 13-14 at 7:30 p.m.
Rioult, then know as the Pascal Rioult Dance Company, was the hit of the first Choregus Productions' season and brought down the house with their dynamic Bolero. Rioult is the first company to be invited for a second appearance on the Choregus roster, Rioult was founded in 1944 and quickly became an established name in modern dance with a reputation for creating and presenting the sensual, articulate, and exquisitely musical works of Pascal Rioult. Born into the American modern dance tradition, Rioult is creating its own legacy of theatrically produced, contemporary dance that speaks to the mind as well as the heart of the global community. The New York Times has referred to Pascal Rioult as the replacement for George Balanchine. For their second Tulsa appearance, the company will perform a new program of recently completed work.
